The 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLC Electric still wears an illuminated grille

The upright grille is a GLC Electric design cue even when it is not illuminated. Mercedes-Benz USA’s current 2027 model page calls grille illumination available equipment. A bright press-car grille therefore cannot establish that every GLC Electric has the same lighting configuration.

The U.S. page lists the GLC 400 4MATIC Electric and describes Star motifs in both the front daytime-running lights and rear LED lamps. Those motifs offer a second family cue, but they do not identify an exterior package or prove a light animation is active on a particular vehicle.

Styling options add another limit. Mercedes lists Night Package, AMG Line and AMG Line Plus as ways to change the exterior expression. The specification and original order record matter when comparing a standard-looking car with a darker or more assertive press example.

Use the U.S. exterior highlights for the available grille treatment and shared light theme. Earlier European launch photographs should be understood in their stated market and configuration; the dot count or animation shown there is not a promise for every U.S. car. The vehicle’s factory equipment establishes what actually illuminates.
