The SPORT release’s accessible manufacturer summary describes a darker exterior treatment. Dark grille trim can therefore be a useful comparison point, but it is weak evidence in isolation. Black paint, an aftermarket trim wrap or a replacement grille can make another example resemble a promotional SPORT vehicle. Check the recorded grade instead of turning a color impression into a factory-equipment claim.

A front photograph also cannot authenticate a model year by itself. A manufacturer may carry a design across years, and a date on a photo can be the publication date rather than the vehicle’s model year.
