The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq-V still wears a vertical light blade

The vertical front lighting is a Cadillac family cue; it cannot by itself distinguish a 2026 LYRIQ-V from the regular LYRIQ. Cadillac’s LYRIQ-V announcement identifies more specific exterior changes: the lower front fascia, chin spoiler, side rockers and V-pattern mesh in the lower grille.

The V-Series logos on the rear doors and tailgate are additional identification points. Cadillac also specifies 22-inch wheels with a dark sport finish and an etched V-Series logo. Read those details together. A wheel swap or a separately applied badge can imitate one cue, while a complete factory specification provides a more reliable answer.

The roof and trim need their own distinctions. A black painted roof is standard in the announcement; carbon-fiber accents are available. A photograph of carbon fiber therefore shows a selected option, not a requirement for every V. The Black Crystal Shield and choreographed lighting tie the V to the broader LYRIQ design, so the shield is also a weak discriminator on its own.

Cadillac introduced this as its first all-electric V-Series model, with standard dual-motor all-wheel drive. Its announcement’s 615-horsepower figure is Cadillac-estimated and associated with the Velocity Max performance feature. The grille cannot verify that operating state, and this article does not independently test acceleration or handling.

For identification, start with the shared LYRIQ body, then check the V-specific lower bodywork, logos and recorded equipment. The January 2025 release described production starting in early 2025 for the 2026 model; that historical launch statement is separate from whether a particular retailer has a car available today.
