The 2026 Acura ADX still wears a diamond pentagon

The Diamond Pentagon grille identifies the ADX’s Acura design language, but it cannot establish A-Spec equipment. Acura introduced that grille and the wide-set daytime lamps with the first ADX in its 2025 press kit. That is a dated explanation of the design, not proof that every photograph from the kit shows a 2026 vehicle.

For the 2026 U.S. lineup, Acura’s current model page provides the useful grade distinctions. The base ADX wears 18-inch Pewter Gray wheels with machined accents. A-Spec adds black exterior accents, 19-inch Shark Gray wheels and LED fog lamps. A-Spec with Advance is a further package, not a separate SUV body. The grille’s five-sided outline is shared across those choices.

That means the strongest exterior check is a combination: fog lamps, wheel design, trim accents and the A-Spec badge should tell a consistent story. Wheels and badges can be changed, so use them to form a likely identification and confirm it against the original build specification. Front-wheel drive and available all-wheel drive should also be checked separately; neither follows from the grille shape.

Paint is particularly weak evidence of the year. The 2026 page lists Double Apex Blue Pearl II on A-Spec packages, but a blue finish does not authenticate either a year or a package on its own. The old article’s press photographs were documented as 2025 ADX images and had been labeled 2026. They have been removed while the identification guide remains. The shape can carry over; the date attached to a photograph cannot be changed to match a headline.
